Group Therapy

Group counseling is one of the most effective ways to learn about yourself and how you are showing up to others.

Think about it. If you are having trouble connecting to others because of fear, fear of trusting others, fear of being vulnerable, fear of getting hurt, than what better place to work on those fears than with a group of folks who share your experience.

Socially anxious? Constantly worried about others thoughts and judgments? Feel like you do not know how to effectively communicate with others? Then what better way to overcome these worries than by overcoming them with others with similar struggles.

Group therapy differs from individual therapy by connecting to you a community and not just an individual therapist. Groups consist of 6-8 folks who are struggling with similar challenges, and they are run by a clinician skilled at helping the group use their time together to make changes to their everyday lives. In group, you will share your thoughts and experiences while allowing the other group members to also provide support to you.

If you’re looking for help in improving your everyday life - or for a more community-oriented therapy experience - you would be a great fit for our group therapy services.

An Initial Assessment is required to participate in groups, so please reach out to me today for an assessment and to learn more about how group might be just what you were looking for.
